REM Tec and AIAS join forces for REM Tec Day: agrivoltaics as a bridge between agriculture, industry and local communities

On 28 May 2026, at Zenato Winery – Tenuta Santa Cristina in Peschiera del Garda, REM Tec Day will take place: an event dedicated to the role of agrivoltaics as a concrete tool to support the energy transition, strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems and generate new value for local communities.

Organized by REM Tec together with AIAS, within the framework of a programme funded by the European Climate Foundation (ECF), the event will bring together companies, institutions, professionals and stakeholders from the agricultural, energy and industrial sectors.

The central theme of the day will be the economic sustainability of agrivoltaics, with a particular focus on its ability to create value even without incentive mechanisms. The programme will explore technical, agronomic, economic and regulatory aspects, including project quality, territorial integration, investment models and the role of technology as an enabler of new forms of collaboration between agriculture and renewable energy production.

The event will include expert presentations and a round table discussion, followed by a networking lunch at Zenato Winery. In the afternoon, participants will take part in a technical visit to the advanced biaxial agrivoltaic plant, with a capacity of 5.2 MW, located at Ori Martin’s Ospitaletto site. The plant represents a concrete example of integration between agricultural production, renewable energy and local industrial processes.

REM Tec Day aims to foster a concrete dialogue on the future of agrivoltaics and on the opportunities offered by clean technologies for agriculture, industry and local communities. Participation is free, with mandatory registration and limited seats available. The event also allows the recognition of Professional Training Credits for Agricultural Experts and Graduate Agricultural Experts.
